The side of the bay you live on by bike
Audenge sits in the heart of Arcachon Bay, on its eastern shore, between the water and the pine forest of the Landes de Gascogne. Less busy than the southern shore, this is the side of the bay you live on by bike and on foot: the oyster harbour, the tidal sea-water bathing pool, the Certes and Graveyron estate, and a cycle path that runs a hundred metres from the house.

How do I book?
By writing to us directly with your dates through the contact form. We reply within 24 hours with availability and the total price, with no platform fee. The booking becomes firm when the rental contract is signed, with a 20% deposit on the stay.
Is the pool usable all year?
No. It is an unheated above-ground pool, open in high season only, from 1 July to 31 August. It is private and unsupervised: children swimming remain the parents' responsibility.
Is bed linen provided?
Yes, bed linen is supplied for every bed at no extra charge. Towels are not: bring your own, or we can provide them for €10 per person, payable on arrival.
Can you walk to the beach?
Yes: the beach, the harbour and the sea-water bathing pool are a ten-minute walk away. The shops are closer still, and the cycle path passes a hundred metres from the door.
Is the house all on one level?
Almost: the house is single-storey, but three steps lead up to the kitchen, the sitting room and three of the four bedrooms.
Are pets allowed?
No. Pets are not allowed in the house, small dogs included. We would rather tell you here than on your arrival.
Can I charge an electric car?
Not at the house, but several public chargers are less than a ten-minute walk away: Aldi, Carrefour and the town centre.
